Camp Description

Come join us for a total hockey weekend in our nation's capital!   This camp is going to be a very special one.  It will include our traditional skills development program and normal social activities.  But in addition, we will have 2 bonus activities on Friday.  Friday morning we will have our normal on-ice session at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.  But then we will pack up our gear and head down to the Verizon Center.  That afternoon we will skate at the Verizon Center on the home ice of the Washington Capitals in front of delirious fans numbering in the single digits. It will be a Blue vs. White Weekend Warriors scrimmage.  After the game, we will head over to a local downtown establishment such as Clyde's, where we will talk about how awesome we were over a beer or two, and a bite to eat.  And then at 7:00 it is back to Verizon Center to watch the Caps take on the Buffalo Sabres.  Beleive it or not, at that point, the camp will just be halfway over.  For a more detailed schedule, click here.

The Rink

Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, VA.  This is a brand new, state of the art facility in Arlington,VA.  It is THE Premier arena in the DC area, and is also the practice facility of the Washington Capitals.  The Caps are likely to be practicing during the days when we are there.  Last year we got to watch some of the practices, and some players even obtained autographs for their kids...or at least that's who they said they were for.
