Unless otherwise noted, camps start on Thursday
evening and run through Sunday morning/early afternoon. Exact ice times
will vary by rink, but the following is a schedule for a typical camp:
Typical Ice Times (6 sessions of 2 hours/session)
Thursday: 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday: 9:00 to
11:00 AM and 3:30 to 5:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 to
11:00 AM and 3:30 to 5:30 PM Sunday: 9:00 to 11:00

Typical Schedule of Off-Ice Activities
Thursday: Registration 2 hours before the first skate.
Thursday Evening: "Break the Ice Party" after the evening skate.
This is a great time to meet the coaches, staff and other players.
Friday and Saturday Afternoon: Between the morning and afternoon skates
there will be "chalk talks" with the coaches. In these talks, we will
discuss subjects such as game strategy, positioning and formations, breakouts,
conditioning, etc. We may also use this time to review and analyze
videotape of players executing skills and drills.
Saturday Evening: Camp Banquet Dinner for all of the players, coaches and
staff. This will be hosted at a local restaurant. A great time to
celebrate all of the fun and learning of the first 3 days.
Sunday: After the final skate there will be a brief wrap up discussion with the
coaches and staff to close out the camp. |
