Don't Have
a Full Team? We offer options for Single Players or Small Groups of
Players
We all know
the scenario. After a big win in one of your beer league games, the
captain says, "we should go to a tournament". In the heat of the
moment, everyone says "Yeah, that sounds awesome! Let's do it!
It will be a blast!" So then you find a tournament to go to, tell
everyone the dates, and the excuses start flying.."Uh, my sister is coming
to town that weekend"..."It's my nephew's birthday."..."I need to get my
tires rotated."...well, you get the idea. Four guys are still psyched
to go, but everyone else is backing down. Well, no worries. Sign
up as individuals or a small group, and you can still come to a Weekend
Warriors tournament and have a blast! Each Weekend Warriors tournament
will accept individual players and small groups of players. We will
form teams of these players, and even provide you with a Weekend Warriors
jersey to wear. You will meet other Weekend Warriors and have a great
time!
Coached Team Option
Have you
always wondered how much better your team would play if you could execute
some simple breakouts? How about a blue line entry? Cycling the
puck? Perhaps a proper Power Play or PK? Maybe you have tried to
teach your team these things? How's that working out for you? Yeah, we
thought so. Well now you can come to a Weekend Warriors tournament AND
learn to play better as a team. If you sign up for our Coached Team
Option, your team will be given an experienced, highly qualified Weekend
Warriors coach for the weekend. In addition to playing your tournament
games, you will also get two practices with your coach. Your coach
will also run the bench during your games, and then review the videotape
with you after the game. Not only will you play better during the
tournament, but we pity the rest of the teams in your league back home!
Special Deal for Team Organizers
We know how
hard it is to organize a team to come to a tournament. Normally it is
a thankless job, but not with Weekend Warriors. We will thank you with
a free hotel room night. Just be one of the first 8 teams to register
for a particular tournament, and you as the organizer will receive a free
hotel night for your efforts.
