Player Activities Off the Rink

Weekend Warriors is about more than just learning and playing hockey.  It is an entire weekend experience of fun, learning and camaraderie.  In order to achieve this goal, we will:

  •  Host a "Break the Ice" Party for Thursday evening, which will follow the first skate.  This will give you an opportunity to get to know your coaches and  fellow players.  Coming with a spouse or friend who is not playing?  They are welcome to join us.

  • Host a Banquet Dinner on Saturday evening for all players, coaches and staff.  And if you have come with a non-playing spouse, friend or family member, please bring them along.  They are welcome to join the fun for the cost of the meal.
  • Hockey Hall of Fame - You will be provided with discount passes to the Hockey Hall of Fame.  The Hockey Hall of Fame is a memorable visit for any hockey fan, and should not be missed.  Their hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.  For more details, check out their website at http://www.hhof.com.

Activities for Attending Spouses/Families of Players

Some players may wish to bring their spouse or family along.  Toronto certainly has a plethora of activities to offer, including theater, museums, shopping, international dining and more.  Our hotel is just minutes from Canada's Wonderland, a great amusement park.

Activities for Attending Spouses/Families of Players

Note to US players going to Canada.  A passport is required when flying from the US to Canada.  When driving to Canada, the requirements has been less stringent. However, the plan is to eventually require a passport for crossing the border by car.  Please check with current immigration laws regarding the policy that will be in effect at the time of the camp.
